HEALING YOUR INNER CHILD
How this works…
Step 1: Grab a notebook, pen, and get yourself somewhere comfy. Watch the pre-recorded inner child workshop below, its about 90 minutes.
***Note: this workshop was pre-recorded, at the end I mention the 7-day VOXER group, this was live so is no longer available, however I have created a 7-day challenge you can do at your own pace — see step 2 to the right. I also mention BOUNDLESS which is a group program that ran earlier this year, this program is currently on HIATUS and 1:1 coaching is my primary way of working with clients right now, the next spaces open 21 August. Step 2: Complete the 7 day Inner Child Healing challenge over the next 7 days, this is a 5-10 minute daily commitment for the next 7 days to heal your inner child. Scroll past the workshop to access day 1.
The Workshop
Day One
Day one is about introducing your inner child to your inner parent, complete the guided audio practice (think meditation vibes) here ➡️
Day Two
Day two is an incredibly important day, an introduction to feeling your feelings ➡️
Day Three
Day three is an inner child check-in, this is a mix of a guided practice with a few short breaks to journal your answers. Grab a journal and get started ➡️
Day Four
Day four is writing a letter to your inner child.
set a timer for 5 minutes, and without letting your pen leave the page, write a letter to your inner child/younger self. Validate their feelings and experiences, tell them what life is like now, tell them what your learning, how sorry you are for their needs being unmet, how worthy they are, what dreams you continue to have for life etc anything at all, trust your hand and just let it FLOOWWW.
Day Five
Day five is an internal validation practice. A key skill for your adult self!
Day Six
Day six is writing a letter from the perspective of your inner child, bringing to mind a memory, or experience, or relationship that you had as a child where your needs were unmet, or your younger self was unhappy.
Set a timer for 5 minutes and write the experience and feelings from their perspective, sometimes it even helps to switch and write with your non-dominant hand to feel what it’s like to be a child and have to write slowly and with a lot of effort.
Day Seven
Day seven is a longer inner child practice, settle in, get comfy and go on a journey with your inner child. Access this practice by clicking here.
